There are several reasons that could cause the Ford F-150 to turn over but not start. The first thing to look at would be the charging system. A bad or low charged battery might not be providing enough power to the starter. Check the battery terminals to see if there is any corrosion that could weaken the flow of electricity. A good idea would be to take it out and take it too an auto parts store where they can hook it to their machine and test it to see if it's any good, they usually will do it for free. While You're at it You might as well take the alternator off and take it to the store to have them test it too, they will see if it's providing enough charge to keep the battery level full. If the battery alternator and the charging system check out, another reason would be a failing starter, the internal windings could be binding. There could also be an issue with the fuel delivery system, a bad fuel pump clogged filter or fuel injection issue.

If a ford f-150 turns over, but will not start. This can be caused by some issues such as; ignition issues, battery issues, starter failure, timing of the engine, and battery charge issues.

The most common reason is a dead battery. Also, bad battery terminal connections will cause this. A bad ignition system can also be a cause.

2016 ford f150 2.7 eco boost was running fine now turns over but will not start
The 27th fuse was good so I had to Keep looking I found a video that showed a fuel control module On the rear axle on the driver's side under the spare tire. Replaced it And it fired right up so far so good.
I’vehad the same problem with my 02’ v6 ford f150. Replace the starter it started and also replaced relay on the wall. Ran twice then nothing happened it’s either a battery or alternator.if y’all get a lot of heat in the hood area itcan cause the battery and alternator to go out.also just replaced the alternator two months ago and now idk.bc it ran for 5 mins.after I fully charged my battery.and then it stopped running aftertrying this mourning! The ground wires and stuff also melt burnt .or rubber alternator makes asqueaky sound for a second then fine!

I need help guys I have 2005 Ford f150 5.4 king ranch crank but no start I replace All the sensor After I crank 5 or more times come so much gas for the mofler
2014 F 150 2wd 6.2L. 120,000 mi plugs etc just changed 2,000 mi ago. Came out of a restaurant and it turned over (fast) & key wanted to stay in the "start" position. Checked under the hood & pushed on plug wires. Got back in & turned the key to on position put my foot on the brake & cycled the gear selector from park through the gears a couple of times & put it back into park. Turned the key to off & then turned it to start & it fired right up. Hasn't done it since. Must be an interlock switch that hung up. Hope this helps.
