The "Service Shifter" indicator refers to the gear shifter needing service. If this indicator is showing, it is rcommended that the vehicle be taken to a dealership for servicing

Mine usually happens after left turns. Buy no always. If you hold the up and down arrow on steering wheel at the same time, fadh goes back to regular display. Had it looked at twice. Never gives them any correction or accurate code. I just live with it.

Mine comes on when I put car in neutraL and the warning stays on in the dash and all the lights in shifter stay on. I then put the car in Park, turn the car off and re start. That takes care of that until next time it comes on. Have not had any issues.

Well my red lights were on from 2016 till dec of 2021 when I took my jeep for a safety recall that I’d forgot about in 2017 after the recall update I get a banner covering my HUD blocking my speedometer so my guess is, it will work as long as you can put up with jeep hijacking your vehicles display trying to get you to replace something that they should have fixed. Unless the next recall programs your vehicle to not start when the red lights come on.
My Jeep service shifter light has come on three times now twice it's been apparently fixed now it's on again and I've just been driving it I've reported it to Jeep I've reported it everywhere I can think of and still no recall on him it's super frustrating although my car does not drive any different and I'm still driving it it's still annoying.
It happens to my keep 2017 when I turn left and I just park, turn it off and then turn it back on and it is off until the next time I turn left again. It’s annoying and it worries me that it will not turn on again

This makes my 3rd time having to get mine fixed. The dealership told me that when they fix it, they never have it to happen again. Well guess what this is the 3rd time.why is it not fixed.

I’ve had mine come on for a while. Dealership says nothing is wrong. I turn off the vehicle and wait a couple minutes and turn back on and the lights and warning are off.
Will this cause it not to start. Light came on about a week ago now car won’t start abs and parking break lights flash
