The 2012 Toyota Tundra uses a M14 X1.50 lug nut with a 22-millimeter hex head size. When changing the tire, break loose the lugs, but dont remove them. Then place the jack in the correct spot to lift the tire up. Remove the lugs the rest of the way and remove the tire. Replace the tire and hand tighten the lug nuts. Snug each one with the lug wrench. Lower the jack so that the tire is back on the ground. Tighten the lugs, working in a crisscross sequence until all lugs are torqued to 97 ft/lb. It is important that their loads are properly torqued , because a loose one could fall off eventually causing the tire to wobble and eventually break one of the wheel studs, which in turn could make the tire fall off, causing a serous accident at high speeds.
