The 2013 Chevy Spark oil type iS5w-20. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. Knocking noise may show up from the engine. You could experience poor gas mileage. Your oil needs to be changed out someday. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles or so is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be problems with the engine.

What Type of Oil do I use on a 2013 Chevy Spark, Because I went to get an Oil Change and My receipt is showing that they put 5 W-30 Synthetic Oil
It is recommended to use 5w-20 in winter months because the oil will flow faster to vital engine part for proper lubrication.
