The 2017 Toyota Tacoma has a long and involved maintenance schedule. For simplicity's sake, we'll define basic maintenance (BASIC) as checking installation of the driver's floor mat, inspecting and adjusting all fluid levels, inspecting the wiper blades, rotating the tires, and inspecting the brakes. You'll need to complete BASIC at 5,000 miles or 6 months, and every 5,000 miles or 6 months thereafter. At 10,000 miles or 12 months (and every 10k or 12 months thereafter), You'll also need to replace the engine oil and oil filter, as well as inspect the cabin air filter (in addition to Your BASIC). At 30,000 or 36 months, You'll also need to lubricate the propeller shaft and retorque the propeller shaft bolt. This repeats every 30,000 miles or 36 months. For more details, You can see the full maintenance schedule beginning on page 38 of the following document: https://www.Toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omms-s/T-MMS-17Tacoma/pdf/T-MMS-17Tacoma.pdf
