The oil type needed on Your 2005 Toyota Camry is SAE 5W-30. If You can't find any of thiS-TYPE of viscosity then You're also allowed to use SAE 10W-30. Just remember that when You get the oil replaced, that You should go back to using SAE 5W-30. When purchasing engine oil for Your Camry, select the oil bottle with the same viscosity as iMentioned and with the API certification on the label. The oil capacity on the 2AZˆ’FE engine iS4 quarts with a filter and 3.8 quarts without a filter. The 1MZˆ’FE and 3MZˆ’FE engines have a capacity of 5 quarts with a filter and 4.8 quarts without a filter.

All three (3) engine options; the 2.4L inline-4 engine, 3.0L V6 engine, and 3.3L V6 engine; on the 2005 Toyota Camry all require 5W-30 natural oil.
