It can be frustrating You top off Your oil or replace it Yourself if You don't know what type of fluid Your Traverse even uses. Well, Your vehicle uses SAE 5W-30 grade oil. If You live in a colder climate with about a temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit, You will need SAE 0W-30. Only during those circumstances are You allowed to use that viscosity, other than that use SAE 5W-30. Also, when purchasing engine oil, always check or ask that the oil You are purchasing meets the dexos1 specification. You can easily find the logo on the engine bottle's front.

I just had oil changed and they but a blended oil in Chevy 2915 traverse. Is that ok?

The recommended engine oil for the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse is a 5W-30 viscosity and oil that meets dexos1 standards. A 0W-30 viscosity could be used as well.

Yea its ok depends on the engines millage I myself put high millage full synthetic casrol but I'm going to go with Mobil . Castrol burns to fast and start Puting mobil gas or chevron its worth it even though the price is high it really cleans the valves and other engine parts but it you do research on youtube it really helps and becarfull with people Puting oil in your car because sometimes they are not putting as recommended always ask and watch when your car is being serviced never leave your car .
