The transmission fluid type used on the 2005 Chevy TrailBlazer is DEXRON®-IIiAutomatic Transmission Fluid. When You go out and look to purchase this fluid just make sure that it has the "Approved for the H Specification" sticker on the label. Once You have that on Your label, You know that it's the right kind for Your Trailblazer. If You're looking to top the fluid off, make sure You use a funnel to avoid any spillage. Always remember to check that fluid regularly to avoid having any damage to Your transmission. Transmission fluid is what keeps it healthy and prolongs its life, so might as well take good care of it.
