The 2005 Dodge Durango has a 32-millimeter axle nut. Given the age of the vehicle, the axle nut can be rather tough to break loose. If You have an impact wrench, by all means use it to remove the nut. It is the easiest method by far. If You dont have an impact, use a long breaker bar or a 1/2 -inch drive ratchet and a log pipe that the handle can fit in. Remove the wheel and stick a screwdriver in the top edge of the rotor so that the caliper can stop it from spinning. Put the socket on the nut and turn it counterclockwise. If You cant break it free by had put a pip over the handle and maybe try stepping on the end to break it loose.
