The 2006 Dodge Durango has a current life expectancy of around 150,000 to 175,000 miles. Of course, this is greatly depending on quality of parts, in addition to keeping Your vehicle maintained properly, and regularly. Every 5,000 miles, or 6 months, whichever arrives the soonest, You should service Your suv for an oil change, brake fluid and transmission fluid check, and tire rotation. You will also have Your cabin air and fuel filters checked for dirt and clogs, and if found, they will also be replaced. Doing so regularly and according to the maintenance schedule will ensure You get the most life possible out of Your vehicle.

Mine has almost 227 000 miles on it and has a few issues like my coil packs and plus needing done. Over all still runs very well and I take mine on gravel roads, to lakes and rivers, and maybe some places that are semi questionable in weather conditions. It also starts in -52 windchill weather with a corroded battery.
