The recommended oil type for the 2006 INFINITIM35 is a conventional oil. Only use an oil with the API certification mark or is ILSAC certified. Choose an energy conserving oil with the viscosity grade of SAE 5W-30. You can use a SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 if the temperatures outdoors is above 0° F. You should check the oil level often, but no less than once a month. Open the hood and remove the dipstick. Wipe it off using a clean cloth and put it back into the tube. Make sure it goes all the way in then remove it again. Hold the tip down and make sure the oil is between the MINImum and maximum marks on the dipstick.

I use 10w40 , honestly my m35 runs better and doesn't burn as much oil as with 5w30
