The Chevrolet Cobalt, considered by many to be the successor of the first production line of the Cavalier, is not particularly known for longevity. They were produced to be inexpensive vehicles, not durable or reliable ones. With that said, there are anecdotal accounts found online of drivers getting upwards of 250,000 miles from their 2007 Cobalts, so anything is really possible. As with any vehicle, life expectancy is a product of careful maintenance and diligent care. With regular maintenance, You should expect Your '07 Cobalt to last upwards of 140,000 miles. With religious fluid changes and proactive tune ups, it's realistic to hit 175,000. With all of the above and just a little bit of luck, You might be able to take it over 200,000, or potentially even join the 250,000 mile club that some other drivers have achieved.
