The transmission control module on a 2007 Chrysler 300 is located behind the kick panel below the steering wheel. If You are replacing it, the first thing You need to do is disconnect the negative battery terminal in the trunk. You will need a 10-millimeter socket to loosen the terminal. Next open the drivers side door and remove the trim panel from the end of the dash. It is best to use a plastic panel tool but a Flathead screwdriver will work as well. Stick it in behind the trim and pry out, there are several clips that hold it in. Once that panel is off, there are two 7-millimeter bolts on the end of the dash that need to be removed. Now pry down on the kick panel and it will be free. The TCM is located at the base of the steering column.
