The fuse for the alarm in a 2008 Dodge Avenger is located in the engine compartment fuse box. To get to it, first You will need to open the hood, pull the hood release lever which is located below the headlight control knob at the bottom of the kick panel. Now exit the vehicle and move to the front and place Your hand between the top of the grill and bottom of the hood and move the hood latch and open it. The fuse box is to the left of the engine between the windshield washer fluid reservoir and shock tower. There are two separate fuses that control the power going to the alarm system, they are botH20 amp flat blade fuses. If the old fuse is blown make sure You replace using one with the same amperage rating.
