You should only use oil in the 2008 INFINITI G37 Coupe that has the API Certification Mark or is ILSAC certified and that has a SAE viscosity rating of 5W-30. A conventional or synthetic oil can be used as long as they meet these requirements. The oil level needs to be checked regularly to ensure proper lubrication and protection. Driving the vehicle when the oil level is low can cause serious damage to the engine. The oil and filter should be replaced every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. The G37 Coupe has an engine oil capacity of 5-1/8 quarts, a half of a quart of that is in the filter, the rest in the oil pan.
