The 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML350 comes in two different engine configurations; You may either have the 3.0L turbodiesel, or the 3.5L naturally aspirated. For the former, You'll use 9.0 quarts of SAE 0W-30 full synthetic diesel formulation. For the latter, You'll need 8.5 quarts of SAE 0W-40 full synthetic motor oil. In its absence, the 3.5L can take almost anything, at varying temperatures. Now, You'll want to stick with SAE 0W-30 or SAE 0W-40 whenever possible, but the ML350 3.5L can use SAE 5W-30, SAE 5W-40, or SAE 5W-50 at temperatures above -13 degrees Fahrenheit. At temps above -4, You can use 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, or 10W60. Above 5 degrees, that also includes 15W-30, 15W-40, and 15W-50. Finally, above 23 degrees, You can also use 20W-40 and 20W-50. Still, if at all possible, You'll want to stick to the lower end of the range.
