The 2011 Mazda CX7 can laSTSolidly for 150,000-200,000 miles with routine maintenance visits and regular care. Oil and filter changes should be scheduled every 7,500-10,000 miles or 12 months if using synthetic replacements or every 3,000-5,000 miles or 6 months, if filling with conventional oil. The CX7's timing chain is designed to remain maintenance-free. However, some owners choose to replace this part to extend the use of the vehicle another 50,000-100,000 miles. Timing chain replacement on the CX7 averages $500-$1500 in parts and labor. Transmission fluids can be flushed at 80,000-100,000 miles and costs around $50-$100 in parts and labor. Spark plugs should be replaced every 30,000 miles and can add years of life expectancy to the vehicle.
