The 2011 VW Routan fuel pump is located inside the gas tank at the back of the vehicle. There is a lid that is on the top of the fuel tank that You can remove and then You will be able to access the pump. Generally if You notice that You have low fuel pressure at Your engine that is a sign that there is a problem with the fuel pump. It could also be a problem with the fuel filter as well. These are both located on the fuel sending unit so either way You will need to go into the tank to inspect or replace them.
