If You want to know where the starter relay is located on Your 2012 Honda Civic, look no further. The starter relay is located under the hood in the engine area. Its specific location is on the driver's side of the motor right next to the battery. The purpose of the starter relay on Your vehicle is to keep the starter working. The way that it does this is it gives it the power to turn it on or off. When the relay goes bad, it stops supplying power to the starter making it not work. When You begin to notice that Your starter has gone bad, I would check the starter relay first before digging into more expensive repairs.
