I'd like to correct Margaret's answer. When you have a refrigerant leak, that leak must be repaired. Refrigerant is not only toxic for the environment, but also in finite supply, and so the price is always going up, slowly but surely. By repairing the leak, you help combat the cost inflation and save the environment.
