One of the most common reasons for a check engine light in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is an EVAP emissions leak. This is particularly nasty if You live in a state that requires emissions inspections, so You'll need to get it fixed right away. Perhaps You're looking to diagnose, or You've already narrowed down the leak to Your EVAP purge solenoid; either way, it's simple to find. It's located in the engine bay, right under the big black engine cover. You can find them online for under $25, so it's a quite inexpensive fix. You'll just need to remove the engine cover, disconnect the wiring harness connector, remove the purge vapor line quick connect from the solenoid, remove the purge hose from the intake manifold, and finally remove the purge solenoid from the bracket. Installation is just as simple, as You'll reverse the steps. Good luck!

The solenoid valve purge valve (evap) on a 2017 chrysler pacifica is located in the evap canister, above the muffler's rear.
