It can cost between $100 to $150 to have the sun visor replaced in a 2008 Kia Sportage. You can drastically cut that cost by up to 2/3 by replacing it Yourself. It is quite easy and all You need is a flat blade and Phillips head screwdriver to do it. The first thing You need to do is take the flat screwdriver and stick it behind the plastic cover at the end of the visor and pop it off. Once the cover is off, take the Phillips screwdriver in insert it into the head of the screw and turn it counterclockwise until it is out. Now that the screw is off the visor will fall down, hold the new visor up and insert a screw and turn it clockwise until it is tight. A replacement visor will cost no more than $30 apiece.
