The Dodge Ram 1500 has an oil filter that can be found located on the lower front passenger side, or right side, of the engine bay. Finding it is somewhat complicated, but will only take a few minutes of Your time. First, go to the front of Your truck, and open the hood. Secure it using the prop arm found on the right side of the engine bay. Take a look into the engine compartment, on the passenger side. You should be able to see the oil filter, mounted just above the front axle. If it is d***y or clogged, it will need to be replaced. This can cost You around $15 to $88 for parts alone.

Seriously, could Ram have put their oil filter for the 5.7L Hemi in a more difficult place to reach, it helps if you’re a contortionist but expect to herniate a disc in your neck while trying to remove or install.
