A Ram 1500 can accommodate up to 35 X12.50" tires without undergoing any modification. Larger ones will require fender rolling, wheel well or body mount trimming. With some additional room, the 1500 can go up to 37-39" tires, but not without changing the factory dimensions of the wheel well. The Ram's various trims are equipped witH17-22" rims under normal circumstances and use 265-70-17 and 285-70-17 tires on the Big Horn, Express, Harvest, Lone Star, Rebel, Tradesman and LaRamie. The LaRamie Longhorn, Limited and Sport feature a tire size of 275-60-20 and the Sport Regular Cab uses 285-45-22. A Ram tire should be inflated to a PSI of 36. Maintaining the proper tire pressure ensures fuel economy and safety on the road.
Very curious as to the difference between the Classic and Standard that allows for a 35. I recently had a 15’ model year with 33’s and when turning tight I would rub the wheel well. I’m wondering how the new 5th gens are capable of a 35 without a leveling kit, or some fender, or well modification? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

On a classic you need a leveling kit to fit 35s
