On the 2007 Chevrolet Impala, the transmission fluid dipstick is located near the back right of the engine bay. You'll see it near the firewall, behind the engine. You'll be adding the transmission fluid through the dipstick tube. Before adding, make sure You engine is running up to temperature, as this can affect Your transmission fluid level. Different transmissions require different types of transmission fluid, so it's vitally important that You search Your specific model and model year before deterMINIng which transmission fluid to buy.

Near the firewall at the back of the engine bay, there is a dipstick with the trans lable on it. This is the fill location, with the dipstick removed and using a funnel.
