The traction control button in the 2004 Lexus RX330 is located on the driver side beneath the steering wheel to the left. It will have the words "TRAC OFF" above it. When pushing the switch an indicator light will come on. The stability control system remains active even if the traction is turned off. The traction control is automatically activated when the vehicle is turned on. You can simply press the TRAC OFF button a second time to turn it back on if You're ever in a situation where it needs to be turned off such as severe road conditions. The owners manual cautions that this system may not be enough in slippery road conditions and that You should not try to drive if Your tires cannot maintain traction on the road. Snow tiers and tire chains plus lower speeds should be used in this case.
