The 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer may or may not have an mass airflow sensor; the 4.2L engine variant omitted it altogether. If You have the 5.3L engine instead, You'll find the sensor immediately outside of the air box on the flex hose. It should be relatively simple to find, if You know what You're looking for. I recommend looking up an image of the part so You have a decent starting point. If You're looking to replace, breathe a sigh of relief because it's a relatively inexpensive part. You'll find replacements available through most major automotive part stores for the $40 to $75 range, depending on brand quality. Combine that with a simple swap labor-wise, and this makes for a perfect DIY project.
