The fuel tank pressure sensor in a 2006 Chevy Cobalt is directly on top of the vehicle's charcoal canister. You don't have to jack the car up either. It can be accessed beneath the rear area of the car, and You should only need a flat blade screwdriver to remove it. The fuel tank pressure sensor alerts You of a defective gas cap, identifies leaks within the fuel system, regulates fuel consumption, ensures the vehicle complies with emission regulations, and signals to the vehicle's computer when the system is not operating properly. Symptoms of a bad fuel tank pressure sensor include hard starting, stalling, rough idling, loss of acceleration, decreased fuel economy, check engine warning light on, and black smoke escaping from the tailpipe. The average cost to replace this sensor in the 2006 Cobalt is $250 to $300. Labor accounts for $160 to $200 of that total.

The fuel tank pressure sensor on a 2006 chevy cobalt is on the top of fuel tank on the fuel pump module.
The fuel pressure sensor is not on top of the fuel tank, I repeat the fuel pressure sensor is not on top of the fuel tank, it is located on top of the charcoal canister underneath the rear of the car, you don’t even need to Jack the car up to access it, it takes a flat blade screwdriver and in less than a minute you can remove it
No it is not on the top of charcoal canister it depends where it was manufactured because I have an 2005 cobalt Ls and it is NOT located on canister but fuel pump I REPEAT NOT ALWAYS ON CHARCOAL CANISTER FOR 05 Ls model
Not to sound like a dumbass but what does it look like. I'm having no symptoms I had a problem with the cap first car seem like it's running fine now it's doing all that
