The 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, when equipped with dual zone climate control, has two blend door actuators. You'll find the passenger's side blend door located under the passenger's side kick panel, just below the glove box. You'll need to remove this kick panel to gain meaningful access. The driver's side actuator is located on the driver's side of the vehicle, just above the accelerator. It's held in place with three T20 screws. The estimated cost of repair is between $275 and $340 -- which is quite unfortunate, considering the high rate at which these fail. The interior workings have plastic gear teeth, and when these break, You'll often hear a loud clicking. This may or may not be enough to throw a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), so You may or may not have the upper hand with diagnosis.

If you're talking about the door lock actuator it's inside the door where the door latches. They're a pain to access and change. You have to take the door panel off.

There is one on the passenger side and one on the driver side, both inside the panel on the door.
