The 2009 Ford Escape houses its power steering reservoir under the hood. It can be found towards the driver-side, near the engine. If Youre having trouble pinpointing its exact location, consult Your owners manual. There is none, the Ford 2009 Escape uses an Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) system. There is no fluid reservoir to check or fill.

On the 2007 and earlier models it should be on the drivers side near the engine but with 2008+ models they have none as it is electrical power and you must check the power steering fuses and if not that then check if it's not the steering torque sensor as that has been recalled since 2014.
