To locate the fuses for the 2011 Chevy Impala look for the under hood box on the passenger side of the engine bay in front of the coolant and power steering reservoirs. The blower motor is controlled by the blower motor control module which is related to the 30 amp "BATT 4" fuse. The box should contain a diagram to help You locate the blown plug and a "puller" for replacing it with a 30 amp new one. Other causes of the fan's failure can include a faulty actuator or debris pulled into the engine compartment while driving. You may notice whirring noises or smoke coming from the dash. Cost to replace the Impala's blower motor average $280-$300 in parts and labor.

The blower motor fuse for a 2012 and the same for a 2011, should be on the passenger side, INSIDE of the car, on the right kick-panel near the floor, and the bottom of the passenger door.
