The fuse for the 2011 Chevy Silverado cruise control is located in the engine compartment and is number 34. The fuse box is near the front end under the hood on the right (driver's left) side. To turn on the system, You will use the buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel. You'll first need to press the ON button then accelerate to Your desire speed. Once reached, press the SET- button and remove Your foot from the accelerator. A cruise control indicator will show in the instrument panel. You can press the brake pedal to turn the system off upon which the indicator will briefly turn green. Your saved speed will still remain. To set it again You'll need to first accelerate to at least 25mph then press and hold the RES+. After that You can reach Your intended speed and let go. You can use the same button to increase the speed by 1mph by simply pressing it when cruise control is active. Alternatively the SET- will decrease the speed by the same amount. You can also hold it decrease it further. To turn off the system You can either press the brakes, cancel button, or the ON button again.
