The 2011 Ford Expedition fuel filter location is under the drivers side on the frame rail. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas tank could become loose. A bad control valve might arise. The gas cap could become stuck and will be quite an ordeal to deal with. There might be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. Vehicle parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be changed every 30,000 miles. If it doesn't, You will come across problems with the performance.

You cant find it because they no longer use external filter 09 in the pickups and i believe it was 10 ford expeditions. They only use the sock filter for the fuel pump module in tank.

The fuel filter location is under the drivers side on the frame rail - note that this is hard to replace yourself.

The 2011 Expedition does not have a fuel filter - none - just the in-tank sock. Change the in-tank pump at 150,000 miles.
