Many new 2012 Chevrolet Cruze owners are confused to learn that there is no trunk release button in the normal place on most vehicles -- the lower left side of the dashboard. In order to release the trunk, You'll need to follow one of two different external methods. First, You can find the trunk release button on the key fob. This is perhaps the most convenient, if You have access. Alternatively, You'll find a touch-sensitive button on the underside of the trunk itself. This is located directly above the license plate. It can be a bit difficult to find, but once You know where it is, You shouldn't have the issue in the future. It's also important to note that as a safety feature, there's also a trunk release on the interior of the trunk.

There is no button inside the car, it’s only available on the key fob and above license plate. I can’t get my button to work under the trunk above the license plate it’s like it’s stuck or something so instead climbing through the backseat is the only option left
I have also same problem remote control working when I go to mentinance but in car not working even I change battery Now back door dikki cannot open

The only trunk button it has besides on the bottom of the key fob is right underneath the trunk lid right above the license plate but your key fob has to be close or the button won’t work because it has to read the key fob for it to open
