The 2013 Ford F-150 has an inertia switch that can be somewhat complicated to find. The first thing You will need to do is go to the passenger side of Your vehicle, and get into the front seat. Now, take a look in the footwell. You should see a carpeted covering, possibly under the floor mat. Lift up the covering, and You will find the inertia switch in the fuse and panel box for the interior. The lid will have a code of numbers You can match to the correct switch inside. If the switch is faulty, it will need to be replaced. You will need to pay between $23 and $84 for parts.

Under the floor? Accessed from top or beneath the truck? I can’t penetrate the Metal floor. Very confusing.
