The output speed sensor on a 2013 Ford F-150 can be found on the rear of the transmission where the driveshaft exits it. This sensor is able to measure the rotational speed of the output shaft and determine the vehicle speed by that. If Your speedometer is having problems, or You notice a check engine light on the dash it could be a problem with this sensor. You will want to make sure that the sensor is free from debris and that the wires are connected tightly to it because loose wires will cause it to not communicate properly with the rest of the vehicle.
