The EVAP purge valve in a 2013 Ford F-150 is located on the EVAP canister which is next to the fuel tank on the driver's side of the truck. If You are having problems with Your vehicle vapor locking then this may be one thing that You will want to check. The canister purge valve can also lead to an EVAP system leak. When You do have a system leak You will get a check engine light on Your dash. Often people will think that this is a gas cap problem, when in reality the purge valve has gotten stuck open and is leading to a problem with the EVAP system.

It's in the engine bay located on top part of engine front and center with a a green and black quick disconnect . Open the hood look down about 100 degrees and you should see it. I just replaced mine.

It is located on top of the engine, front & center. There is one electrical plug and one hose attached. It is the quickest and simplest thing to change on the vehicle, second only to wiper blades.

Ok, where is it? Next to the muffler, next to the gas tank, or smack dab in front of you on the engine? WTF?
