The block heater cord for Your 2015 Ford Escape can be found on the right side of the battery near the fuse box. There will be a plastic cover over the wire and when You lift that off You will find a standard three prong plug. Attach an extension cord to that and then You will be able to use the block heater. A block heater is a good thing to have if You live in a very cold climate. The block heater can keep Your fluids from freezing up in Your engine. Usually frozen fluids can crack the aluminum of the block and that will mean that You will have to replace the motor. A block heater is also good because they can make Your vehicle easier to start when it is cold out since the engine will be warmer.
