A bad bank 2 sensor 2 on the Chevrolet Silverado usually manifests with trouble code P0156. You should also get a "check engine" light illuminating on Your dashboard. If You're going through these issues, You'll be pleased to know that it's relatively simple to find -- You'll need to look no further than the passenger's side behind the catalytic converter. The bad news is that this fault code isn't always a bad sensor -- sometimes, it manifests when the catalytic converter itself has gone bad. While this is still a relatively simple swap, the parts are vastly more expensive. Because of the rare earth metals used in catalytic converters, their cost is exponentially higher than a single O2 sensor. I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't Your issue.

Bank 2 sensor 2 in a chevy silverado is located on the passenger side behind the catalytic converter.
On a 2014 Chevy Silverado LT 1500 if I'm facing the vehicle from the front what side is bank 2 for the sensors?

The o 2 sensors are located in the exhaust pipes. The B1 refers to b1 right, B2 is left (from driver seat perspective.) 1's are before the catalytic converter, 2 's are after the cat con. To change o 2 sensors yourself get the o2 sensor tool at an auto parts store and a matching socket, work on unscrewing the sensor while exhaust is warm .(better than paying $250 per sensor replacement at a dealer.) if you replace them yourself be sure to re flash the engine electronic control module, see directions in the gm forum.
