If You are looking for the oil filter on the 2012 Toyota Tundra, I can help You out with that. The oil filter on Your vehicle is located towards the forward part of the engine. You will be able to see it by looking under the front part of Your vehicle. The purpose of the oil filter on Your vehicle is to screen out foreign contaminants such as dirt, rust, and debris. These types of foreign contaminants are what will put Your engine at risk of being damaged. This is why the job of the filter is so important in keeping the health of Your motor intact. Make sure that You replace the oil as stated in Your owner's manual to always be protected.

The toyota tundra oil filler is located up on the left front side of the engine under a black cap, you can remove it with a special wrench at the bottom.
