There are a number of reasons that the 2016 Ford Edge's radio display may fail to work, and each of them typically depends on how the display failed. The first thing You should do, in any case, is to check the radio's fuse. If this is good, You can move on to other parts of Your diagnosis. Your most likely culprit will be wiring. It's much simpler for a single integral wire to fail than it is for an entire head unit to fail, though the latter is still possible. Visually inspect Your wires for shorts or stripping. If Your head unit has a touch screen, it's possible that physical trauma has broken the underlying digitizer; in this case, it's often more economical to replace the entire head unit, as the digitizer replacement costs nearly as much.

Usually, one of the reasons for a car radio to stop working is a blown fuse. Actually, one or more blown fuses may cause the problem. Please refer to the owner's manual to find the fuse box.
