There could be several reasons that the display isn't working in a 2018 Ford Escape. It could be that it is frozen and needs to be reset. Try pushing the power button and the right search button at the same time and hold them in for about 15 seconds. The display will go black and when the Ford logo appears You can let go. If that doesn't work, it could mean that the display has a bad electrical connection or is faulty. There is a possibility that the fuse might be blown. Check the 7.5 amp fuse in slot 67 in the fuse boxBelow the glove compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle, this protects the power to the display and GPS.

Having the same issue with our 2018. The screen shows the time in the temperature but the wrong date and nothing else. Have tried all reset options

If your display screen will not turn on, you could have an issue with the wiring, the software, or a fuse.

In response to Robert H., thank you for your troubleshooting tip. The reset worked for my issue. However I was a bit confused by the “right search”. For anyone reading this, follow his direction using the power button and the fast forward/ skip ahead button.
