Audi's will cost you a fortune to keep up with all the required maintenance
I have invested more than 4K to rebuilt my transmission, my sensors have been a problem even after I fixed all the required parts, my coolant container has melted 4 times, and the engine has been burning tons of oil over the past 4 years. Nothing but problems honestly

It is fun to drive and good for the first 5-7 years, but overall it wears badly.
I like how my car looks and drives but it is not reliable. It suits my needs. It is small to zip around the city in and fits into small parking spaces. However, something is always wrong with it, especially the oil. It eats up oil like crazy. The gas mileage is not great. The wear and tear of the car is pretty bad considering the age of the car.

Amazing drive but, a few problems
The car drives nicely and looks good. Bought it used and had one collision in the front from the previous owner. The engine has a misfiring problem that comes and goes, also the air intake manifold is faulty. Audi did recognize the problem but the warranty ran out in 2018. Every repair needs a specialty tool even the oil change doesn't have a normal oil plug. Seems to have a lot of wiring problems as the right rear light was replaced and did not solve the problem. The tcs/abs will fault out on the highway and will go away once I have reduced my speed enough. Overall love the car as it is my first car insurance is low but the repairs are starting to build up and the parts are expensive. One single light cost $304 (cad). Would recommend the car but check to make sure there are no big problems before you buy it.

The Audi a3 is a very well equipped and performing car for any kind of driver.
I love my a3 it has a number of performance parts equipped that make it an incredible car to drive I love the Audi feel and performance. Anyone who loves German engineering and or making cars faster or perform better will love the a3. Its built from the same platform as VW golf or gti and has a number of aftermarket parts available for this car like the golf or gti. The a3 is a great entry level luxury vehicle and just like any other vehicle when well maintained it will run forever with the aftermarket support and how relatively cheap and easy it is to work on make it a great car for anyone.

Drives like a go cart, but has serious maintenance issues
This is a great car for someone learning to drive. It goes where you point it. The problem with it is anything more than an oil change will require the dealer or "specially trained" techs with special Audi computers and diagnostic equipment. I would recommend a lease, but never a purchase of one of these cars. Last Audi I will buy for certain. Repairs of something simple like an HVAC flap costs an arm and a leg when a domestic or asian comparable vehicle will cost the amount of a fast food meal.

It is not in mint condition, it has 120,000 miles on it and it does not have any on-board navigation.
It is okay. It is a little slow for my tastes. I also did not buy it new, so there are some cosmetic issues.

Long lasting that does not break down or needs fixed often.
The car is very reliable that has not broken down. It runs pretty smooth. The only thing I didn't like is that I have to pay extra for oil change.

My car can accelerate faster than some sports cars and gets 28 mpg.
Audi in general have quality interiors and superior driving dynamics, I love the fact that I can drive it manually as well.

Audi: dependable sporty car but high maintenance.
Nice leather seats, powerful engine, good gas mileage. It is dependable and is made for cold weather driving. It is seats are very comfortable. The Audi has heated seats. What I do not like is it is a high maintenance car. It needs to be serviced far more often than my old car. I bought it used and it has some quirky problems like a door that sometimes does not open right.
