I would not recommend purchasing a Buick Encore. I bought a brand new 2019 preferred awd model. It was a lemon. At 5 1/2 months old it had to have a piston replace along with all the piston rings on the remaining 3 pistons as it developed a valve cover gasket leak. Second winter the engine light came on. It was determined that I had condensation in my air charger which the dealer could not fix and as a result the turbocharger failed. It was at the dealer for 5 weeks being fixed with no offer of a loaner vehicle. Everything from the air charger up to and including the catalytic converters had to be replaced. 13 months later in the winter again the engine light came on and I had severe decreased engine power and I knew the turbo was done for again. It required another turbo replacement. At this point it only had 50,000 kms on the vehicle. Not a reliable vehicle. Worst vehicle I ever owned.

The safest car to drive in 2021!
The 2021 Buick encore is the best car I have driven to date! The way that it drives is so smooth and it makes me feel really safe. Some of the features that make me safe are the lane assistance and the rear view mirror being a camera full time covering all blind spots! The lane assistance alerts me anytime I might be swerving into another lane on accident. The rear view mirror is a camera which makes it easy to know what is going on behind me at all times. It covers all your blind spots so that you can see every car around you. The safest car I have ever driven!

Excellent reliability
Vehicle is a 2014 encore. Excellent performance, went through Salt Lake City during rush hour Friday of a long weekend at 150kph. Vehicle performed very well. Downside, battery failed at one year and vehicle is sluggish at low speeds butengine reflects why
