Rather well loaded, heated leather seats, touch screen, solid driving vehicle with many options. It also has a sunroof, 3rd row seating, automatic liftgate, Sirius XM radio available and great headlights for an older model vehicle.
This is luxury at its finest! It has power everything! It is a smooth ride, has great control, sticks to the road, drives great in the snow! I feel very safe in this car and it has a huge amount of room.
I like the fact that when you go to pass someone it has the power to get around them. I like having the third row seating for transporting grandkids. I like the heated seats in the winter. I like the stereo with the six place CD player.
It has needed many repairs already including: broken latch for glove box, rear window wiper does not work nor does the rear window sprayer, the Traction control & ABS warning lights keep coming on along with a message to service stability system. It also had to have the timing chain replaced. I have only had it a couple months.
I am the only con I see is that it is power everything, so if something goes it will be a big expense, and it does use a lot of gas, so it is not very economical for driving just around town because it is a heavy car.
The sunroof quit working and it is very pricey to fix. Oil changes are more expensive due to having to have synthetic oil. My husband is six foot three and the passenger side seat is very uncomfortable for him. And there is no way he can sit in the back seat.
The 2005 Cadillac SRX has an average owner rating of 4.00 out of 5 which ranks it #10 of 11 other Luxury Midsize SUVs.
