Comfortable and elegant for all the family.
I love my Durango because it is very roomy, spacious and comfortable, especially for long trips. You can stretch your legs and relax. There is ample room for movement. If you are traveling, there is enough space for your bags and suitcases. It is sturdy and reliable. It gives me a sense of security that I do not feel when driving in other cars. Whenever we plan a vacation to Disney world, we choose to drive my car and we can fit all our bags, medium size cooler, with our sodas and water bottles and there is always plenty of room. The same when we go camping. We usually take a lot of stuff with us, including, 2 large tents, sleeping bags, folding chairs, portable camping kitchen table, a small portable barbeque, a large cooler, pillows and other covers, plus our bags and it all fits perfectly in the back. In the front, we enjoy the space and the comfort of a roomy interior. The interior is cream colored and very nice. The dashboard is elegant and exciting, with all its colors signals and buttons. The stereo is amazing and the ac is a freezer. All in all, this car provides a ride that will be both safe and exciting, comfortable and unforgettable. You are sure to make a lot of wonderful memories with this car. You will not want to change it.

Best car I have ever owned.
It has heated and cooling seats, both rows of back seats fold down for more space, and it tells you when you are too close to other vehicles! The only problems I have had is the heat/air does not work on the driver's side, and my windshield wiper fluid will not come through. However, it is a used car.

Dodge Durango-great family, fun utility vehicle.
Great family vehicle. Roomy, comfortable, and fun to drive. We have had vehicle since 2014, and have put on approximately 70k miles, with no major performance issues. It is a v8, so not great on gas mileage, however, we purchased the vehicle to pull a camper trailer, and it works wonderfully, even on hills,

It's very reliable and comfortable!
It's been very reliable. The third row seating is great when needed. Love the heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel.

The amazing family SUV dodge Durango.
I love my dodge Durango. It is perfect for my family of five! Spacious and sleek. I love my memory seats, push start and remote start. This is a great family car. It rides smooth and I feel my family is very safe in it. I would recommend the dodge Durango to anyone, especially those people looking for a great, smooth, safe car for their family.

It has great road performance.
It is very comfortable and roomy interior and smooth ride great for traveling. It has modern technology.

The all around best truck.
I have a family of 8 and it fits all of us perfectly. Runs smoothly on the road and has a great ratio with refilling the gas tank to how many miles traveled. It has a built in navigation system as well as the radio is tough screen. The car does offer Bluetooth as well. It has a sensors while parking to avoid obstacles.

The Dodge Durango is my perfect mommy car.
I absolutely love my car. The only problem I do have is my husband is a very big and tall man and I do not fill as though the car is wide enough for his shoulders and tall enough for his head room.

Good for trail driving and affording.
Very happy overall - next car will be smaller and more fuel efficient though - Chevy bolt or volt - additionally like the rav4 model for Toyota or similarly, Honda CR-V. In the market for a new car when I start a family for trips upstate. Do not drive very often.

Do not buy a 2012 dodge durango unless you have another car and lots of money.
There's multiple recalls on top of recalls and there's always something wrong with it. I have put more money into the car since I found it then anywhere close to what it is worth. I do not recommend of this week will hurt anyone expression ai if it is going to be the only vehicle you have to depend on to get you or your family around.

My car s all grey with black interior.
It's a perfect size vehicle to have for your family. It Is Dependable and perfect for all seasons. It has great gas mileage. I have had the vehicle for many years and besides the regular upkeep it has not given many issues. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a great first car.

Has problems frequently. Once it starts having problems it seems like it never stops having issues.
It's a 2012 Dodge Durango. It has about 68k miles on it and has recently started having major issues. The coolant started leaking, it was $1500 to fix. Now something in the back end is starting to leak, not sure what it is yet. I loved the car before it started having issues. I'll be trading it in soon.
accountCircle Gary B
Air conditioner a major issue.
Generally runs good. I had a transmission issue where it locked up in low gear. Also air conditioner went out twice, once it the dealer had it for two months. I use the Durango to pull a 23 foot camper trailer it handles very well. A side panel on drivers seat is very poorly designed because it keeps coming apart.

My car will die while I am driving.
I really do love some things about this car. I love the sunroof, the leather seats, it is easy to get in and out of, I love that it has some power and I love the seat warmers. What I do not like is that it randomly dies all of the time. I will be driving and when I go to make a turn, the car has died and I have to muscle the steering wheel around so I can pull over safely. I have to turn the car off, then restart it. We have taken it to the dealer several times but they cannot find anything wrong with it. I also do not like the tire pressure indicator. It is rarely accurate and tells me my tires are low and then not. I do love a lot of things about the car but do not feel entirely safe driving it.

The dodge Durango can tow calling trailers really well.
I feel like they did a crappy job making the engine. It has had lots of problems because of that. I feel that I should not have had to replace the engine before 100k miles.

My reliable dodge Durango.
My vehicle has been very reliable. It is also comfortable with plenty of leg room for long trips. The only problem I have had is the airbag sensor that is under the passenger seat. It has a bad connection and the airbag light stays on. This has been repaired several times but it still happens.

My 2012 dodge Durango has heated seats.
My 2012 dodge Durango is a reliable vehicle. On average I get about 17 to 18 miles per gallon. Although not terrible, I wish it was slightly better especially on the highway. The vehicle does offer an amazing amount of room for passengers and for storage. Overall all it has been a very durable car.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Blake W.

There is plenty of space in front and back seats for both driver and passenger side, as well as the rear part of the vehicle where items can be stored. The vehicle is also incredibly durable and known for its conservative use of fuel.

likeFilled Nick M.

It is great on gas mileage and has needed no serious repairs the last 8 years. The inside has also held up well. The paint job is another non issue for this vehicle which stays well. The vehicle has also held up with only occasional oil changes.

likeFilled Amy T.

Plenty of space and handles well great family car or for those who travel often. Also plenty of leg room for those over 6ft 3in a our friend is very tall and never has a problem fitting. The fold down third row seating is a huge bonus for people or the extra rear space.

likeFilled Hope S.

My dodge truck is a very reliable and safe vehicle to drive. The truck is very sturdy and feels safe to drive. The gas and brakes work very well. It has a lot of power. It has been running very well for a long time and rarely has problems.

likeFilled Kelly H.

I like the ride and the styling of the vehicle. It looks good. It has good visibility and power. I have not had any crazy maintenance issues with the vehicle. Repairs have not been expensive and are normal wear and tear.

likeFilled Rebecca A.

The room in this vehicle is great. It is also a very well vehicle in the ride and suspension. I love the added features of a television and moonroof. The vehicle is a top of the line well rounded vehicle.

likeFilled Dawnita D.

Backup camera, space, third row seats, lots of storage space, hands-free, heated second row seats, great air-conditioning and vents for back row seats, drives well, side indicators to show when another car is too close or is in your blind spot, safety.

likeFilled Gary B.

Dodge has a great reputation. I needed a vehicle that could tow a big camper and also a good vehicle for day to day use. The price was a little higher than I was looking for but it turned out to be worth it.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Blake W.

A con is that the Durango is incredibly bulky, which makes it slightly more susceptible to damage in the event of a car crash, though its durability somewhat counteracts this weakness. Besides that, there are not many other cons to this vehicle.

dislikeFilled Nick M.

The cons of the vehicle are some technical problems. There has been issues with the readings of the mph and the reading of the gas. This has made the vehicle a bit dangerous at times when the mph is not reading right randomly.

dislikeFilled Amy T.

Not fuel efficient the large tank means a large payment each week to fill up. There is a horrible blind spot on both sides possible mirror or dash detection would be an upgrade on future models. The ac filter being behind the glove box is a pain to change.

dislikeFilled Hope S.

There are not too many cons of the vehicle. I guess since it is a bigger truck you do not feel like you have as much control as you do with a smaller car. When you put it in drive and park with the knob you can accidentally reach for the radio or vice versa so that can be a little dangerous.

dislikeFilled Kelly H.

It has horrible gas mileage, which is to be expected from an 8 cylinder hemi. Because it is a Hemi, there are some manifold issues that exist because of poor design. I do not like that in order to access the battery, you have to move a POWER seat. Does not make sense.

dislikeFilled Rebecca A.

I haven't found anything that would be a con for this vehicle. I love the extra room it offers and the extra features it offers. The clear coat is peeling off but my vehicle is also 8 years old. Overall great vehicle.

dislikeFilled Dawnita D.

No built-in DVD player in the back to entertain kid. That really is the only con to my vehicle. When I chose this vehicle it was a surprise. It had everything I was looking for and I didn't know that I was looking for.

dislikeFilled Gary B.

Price was more than I wanted to pay. It was a little big for my 5'2' wife. She is used to driving a compact car. The gas mileage was not what we were looking for but we do not drive that much anymore(retired).

If it was outright bought and not leased, I believe it costs around maybe 12,000 flat. And if you lease, I think you may pay an extra 1,000-$3,000
