Good vehicle. Just basic keep ups. The back seat is small.
It is a reliable truck. I havent had to put much money into it just basic work like oil changes and such. I have extended cab. There isn't a lot of room in the back. So, if someone has long legs it is hard to sit behind someone. My window switch has went out. But, other than that overall a good truck.

It has an very pretty color.
It is an small car I have an big family. I wish it was a bigger car but it is reliable and the gas on the car cost a lot as well. It an silver and blue car it is very cute car. It has four doors all the doors work all the windows work as well. It drives out of state good on miles.

Good overall everyday driver!
It is a reliable vehicle. The back seat could be bigger. There isn't a lot of leg room in the back. But, it runs good and it doesn't have any serious issues. I would recommend this vehicle to others. Over all I am very pleased! This vehicle only had normal wear and tear, no major issues.

Great truck and does everything I ask.
Does a great job towing! Has needed some repairs but nothing major and it is at 175000 miles and it shows no signs of slowing down. Suspension is a little stiff if you are driving around unloaded but once it has a trailer hooked up it rides great. One of the better vehicles I have ever owned.

Great running truck that has a ton of power.
Runs great. Has a bunch of power. Four wheel drive is very powerful and can get you out of sticky situations. I can always count on her starting up and will always run fantastic. Mine has a 6.0 in it so it does get lower gas mileage but she makes up for it in power.

The GMC sierra 2500 review.
The sierra 2500 is extremely strong and ties with little effort. I love the looks of it. The interior is well designed and comfortable. I have owned it for 7 years and have had very few problems with it. Just starting to show it is age now. With 75000 miles on it, I expect to get quite a few more years out of it.

My GMC sierra 2500hd has everything you need in a truck.
I really love my 2011 GMC sierra 2500hd it has everything you need in a truck. It has a lot of room in the cab everybody is very comfortable. It has a sunroof that is nice. The engine is very powerful there is never a time that I do not think the truck lacks power. There is plenty of room in the bed to get whatever you need moved or hauled that this truck can do. It can also pull very good it has the duramax engine with the Allison transmission. Everything works well the radio is nice and loud and the ac is cold. It has heated seats which really helps out.

Reliable
Yes, I recommend the Sierra 2500 HD. My '07 Ext. Cab, LWB, WT was great. In 98k miles only had to replace a faulty plug wire, she returned about 17mpg highway & 13 city. Traded her for a identical new 2011with Eaton 3:73 gas 6.0. Both trucks pulled a 6k lb trailer daily. As with the '07, only repairs were the wear items. But at 112k miles small problems developed; cracked exhaust manifold, a bent from the factory hydroboost tube rusted & leaked, EVAP box needs replaced, rear carrier cracked, all forward transmission rings lost there friction material, it was a expensive hit, for the last two problems were 9 months apart. This truck has paid for three trucks. Both trucks handle like on rails and nothing rides more confidently down the road. I'll probably keep this truck until I die.

The TCM going out around 75 thousand miles was a bit of an issue.
The truck runs great. It had some transmission issues around 75 thousand miles and apparently it's a common issue. Other than that it runs good. And I have had no issues with it. Needed a lift to ride a little smoother but afterwards it rides great. Seats are comfortable and hold up great with animals.

Its dependable and its got power!
Absolutely nothing I love it. Couldn't be more happy with it. The only thing is its a diesel so its expensive to repair and maintenance.

Comfort and great towing capabilities.
I couldn't be more happy with our truck. It rides very smooth and has great pulling capacity. We pull a 30; RV trailer and have had no problems at all. It is very roomy and comfortable. The only problem I would say I have had with it is the turning capability. It does not turn very sharply but I can overlook that with all the other positives.

Very reliable. Good work truck. No major issues in seven years of service.
I bought it brand new. Never have had any major issues with it. 140000 miles on it and it runs and drives like its new.

Runs well, gas hog and high miles.
Our vehicle has a 6. 0l gas engine. It has power for pulling but is a gas hog. If the engine ever blows up, it requires a new engine because it has aluminum heads etc. It is very comfortable to drive and ride in and has a long box too. We had Cilajet coating put on inside and out.

I would recommend Gmc sierras to everyone
I do love my Gmc. It is a very comfortable ride, as well as the seats being comfortable. I love the features and the look of the truck inside and out. I have owned the truck for about 1 year, and have only had to replace the gas cap. Gmc is a reliable company and will continue to own one forever.

Comfy and spacious vehicle
The door handles on the inside are to low. Love all the room inside.

It is an american made truck and much better than imported trucks
My truck is a extended cab truck with suicide doors. I love the suicide doors vs. The new doors that swing the same way. I don't like the diesel exhaust fluid system and believe it should be taken out

2011 GMC 2500 pros and cons.
Awesome workhorse of a truck with great towing capacity; however, there have been several recalls and recurring problems. From glow plugs to the def tank malfunctioning to the truck refusing to hold wiper fluid, the list seems to increase each year. I do not know if this is a standard for these trucks, but I am tired of frequent issues with my own. Unfortunately, few vehicles can compete with how safe I feel driving it and it is towing performance.

GMC full size pickup is awesome!
I love my truck. It performs exactly the I want it to. It has lots of power. It has a glow-plug issue right now but can be easily fixed with money and time. Does not affect its driving or running. It is a very nice ride for being a full sized truck. Very comfortable that we can take it on a long trip.

GMC Sierra (a decent vehicle)
I have only owned this truck for about 2 months now. Took it on a fun vacation with an overhead camper and it ran beautifully. I got around an average of 10mpg which is not ideal, but that's what you get when you have a gas engine in a 3/4 ton truck. Very comfortable ride!

My 2011 gmc sierra 2500hd is a pretty powerful truck. Great pulling abilities. Almost like you don't have a trailer in tow.
My transmission started slipping around 150,000 miles. Don't believe transmission mechanic if they say nothing big is wrong. Do a fluid change and have them look for metal shavings.

2011 GMC Sierra 2500hd Denali 4wd crew cab
Great truck never had any issues yet at 155k powerful Diesel engine and fully loaded for the year great durable truck. This truck has never had any major mechanical issues great luxury seats with heated and cooled seats and has lots of power to pull my trailer

I love everything about my truck.
Our 2011 GMC is so reliable - it is like a good running watch. I has great interior space. Rides a bit rough without a load but like a dream when loaded. Easy to drive. Quiet ride. Seats are comfortable in front and the back. Long rides in the back seat are favorable plenty of legroom. Space for cups in middle pull down console in back seat - needs deeper cup holders for drink stability. Front seats easy to adjust. Great all around visibility. I would like to see these vehicles with air ducts in back but overall good airflow for heating and cooling. 5-6 persons can ride in this vehicle fairly comfortable.
accountCircle Casey K on January 6, 2019
It is great and has power, rides and does what a luxury truck needs too.
Diesel emission system is the worst thing, currently under warranty till 10 yr/120k miles, have issues with diesel particulate filter every 2-4k miles. The second worst is the cp4 fuel pump was not designed for American thin/low sulfur diesel fuel, was a $4600 repair.
