My Honda civic is always dependable. I've had civics for years and years and have never had anything go wrong with them. I just have the scheduled maintenance and oil changes and it runs perfectly every time I turn the key. Very good on gas mileage, too.

02 Honda civic reliable transportation vehicle
The Honda civic is a great, reliable, and inexpensive vehicle that has been a pleasure for me to drive for a few years now. The only repairs necessary were replacing headlights/tail lights and cc joint/control arms. The interior is very comfortable and the up down armrest really helps, as does the cruise control option. It performs well on the road with great gas mileage and visibility when driving. The car is not loud and drives smoothly with great handling. Breaking is also easier since it's a lighter vehicle. Seats 5 and 4 comfortably.

Nearly half a million miles!
I cant say enough about this car! It is excellent on gas, fun to drive, spacious. I did have the transmission replaced with a rebuilt, (I heard Honda had troubles with the transmissions for that year.) But get this: MY CIVIC HAS 434,000 MILES ON IT! And it's still going strong! My car is a little powerhouse. I'm a loyal Honda owner for life!

It is nice for an older car, I would expect nothing less from a 2002.
Very comfortable, love the way the car is set us as far as where things are. I do not like how it is not the most reliable, my engine light comes on all the time even after I get it checked. It is very nice looking for an older car though, which I love. I do not like how my gas tank hold maybe 12 gallons, that kind of blows. It is a nice car though for someone who just turned 16 and is just driving, especially since it is a compact car.

People should know that Honda's will last you years and years. They are made very well and the gas mileage can't be beat.
I love my honda civic because she's 16 years old and still going strong. Other than oil changes and minor routine maintenance, I've had no issues. The resale value with honda always holds up, too. I don't dislike anything.

I love it! It is a little old, and rusty but it is a great car.
The Honda civic lx is a really good car. It is my first car, runs really good. Can fill up the tank of gas with 30 dollars. All the car parts are very affordable since it is an old car. It may have problems here and there, but as long as the car has it is oils and all the waters (antifreeze, etc ) the car is good to go. Also it is a small car, finding parking outside in the street is very easy also.

Reliable long term transportation
The reliability on my Honda Civic has been amazing. I have hardly had to spend any money on it in the 5 years that I have owned the car. It's important to just keep up on the daily maintenance. I drive this car daily and sometimes have long commutes. The air conditioning still works great as well

2002 Honda Civic lx sedan reliable cheap great on gas.
I love that it is reliable and the maintenance is far and few between. However it is getting older so rust is starting to become a problem. Other than the few normal required things for a car this is definitely a stress free ride I feel safe driving in it as well as driving my son or other family members.

Sporty red Civic: versatile, practical and dependable.
I love my Honda Civic. It has been a reliable car for commuting back and forth to work. It is a two door coupe, but has enough room for my wife and 3 children to ride comfortably. I have gone with the automatic transmission, but might would go standard if I had it to do again. I like the eclectic windows and the a/c unit works great. I get great gas mileage both on and off the highway. On occasion I'll use it to drive to the mountains for the weekend and it meets all my carrying needs. I plan to drive my Civic as long as I can and hope to own another one day.

Honda civics are my go to car.
It can be hard to find replacement parts, and the windshield wipers never fit right. The throttle sensors in Honda civics often have issues and need replacing, but are hard to find. The car gets decent mileage, and maintaining overall good condition is fairly affordable. Smooth riding as well, when the suspension is in good condition.

Honda Civic - great little car!
I have had very few problems with my Honda. Maintenance is usually quick and inexpensive - whether I take it to a mechanic or the Honda dealer. Repairs have been for things such as power steering pump and radiator - not too expensive considering I do not have a car payment. It's comfortable and roomy enough for 4 people - I have been able to transport rugs and larger items by collapsing the back seats to access the trunk. It drives well and has been reliable.

Honda engines are made to last. Mine has over 200,000 miles and will run forever.
Engine is great and Hondas will run forever. Cosmetically, things fall apart quickly and the clear coat on Hondas is terrible.

I once used my two door little manual Honda Civic to tow a truck out of a ditch.
It is so reliable, 16 years old and it just needed a timing belt change months ago and I haven't had to worry since. The clutch feels perfect and it shifts wonderfully. I wish the gear display lit up at night but after you get used to it it's not really necessary. I drove it from Tennessee to New York this last year on 2 tanks of gas. This car gets you there and back again no problem. I love this car!

Even though it is falling apart it works enough to get around short distances.
The car has no ac and sometimes makes a noise when accelerating. Also the car is starting to fall apart. The mirror on the drivers and passenger side is broken. Another thing that's broken is that the felt on the passenger is starting to come off. The seats also stain easily.

Very reliable, amazing gas mileage, cheap maintenance and repairs.
The car has 291000 miles on it runs and drives amazing. Like any high mileage older car it has had some problems but parts are very cheap for it and repairs are very easy. Its a 5 speed sedan and gets better gas mileage than my 02 automatic civic coupe did. I drive it almost every day all over the place delivering packages for amazon flex. I love my 7th gen civics.

My Honda civic is a great car. It has not let me down. I can drive for 5,000-7,000 miles without getting an oil change. Gas has always been no less than $15.00 to $22.00 to fill it up. It is a smooth ride always as long as the tires are good. It is great on the interstate and highways.

Honda Civic 2002 review of car performance and interior/exterior.
My Honda Civic runs great at 182, 000 miles. The car has been passed down from family and very rarely does it give us problems. We have always kept up with the oil changes and tire rotation and I can tell you that this Honda has really treated us good. I rate this Honda a 4. 9/5 because for it to be a five out of five for me I would just like the seats to not wear out so fast. Another thing about it not being a five out of five for me is because the exterior gets beat up and damaged sort of easy. Nothing that makes it crazy noticeable but just for a nicer look I wish it wouldn't be so easy to damage.

The 2002 Honda Civic is generally reliable, except in cold weather and on hills. When I bought my car, I had no issues with it until the first winter I spent up north and my first hilly road trip.

Only problem I have had is a valve cover leak. Other than that the car runs perfectly and has amazing gas mileage with plenty of room, and I am nearly 7 feet tall. So that is saying something. The seats are really comfortable and it can pick up speed fast for a 4 cylinder.

It is a great vehicle for new drivers as it is great on gas and small.
The one drawback to this. Vehicle is there is no Bluetooth. But other than this the safety features are top notch and it is great on gas. The speakers have good bass and clearing. Easy to clean and easy to find parking for. Also the color is one that does not require high maintenance.

It is a safe, quiet bubble of space on busy, crowded, and noisy streets.
Leaky driver's side window, sometimes needs to be manually shifted after moving out of place. Generally reliable otherwise. Easy to maintain, as it is a pretty common vehicle and parts are almost always available. Accelerates a little sluggish sometimes. It is an older car now, with a very out of date and broken sound system, but it is been mostly reliable for safe and fuel-efficient transportation, which is more important than an aux cord installation at the moment. I am satisfied overall, and will keep driving it as long as I can.

My Honda is very economical on gas, has ease of the powered windows. My Honda has had little or no repairs...Big repairs...All I do to my car is keep tires balanced with air, rotate tires when needed, change the motor oil every 5,000 miles. I have a lock cover for the gas port, and I get good gas mileage for today's prices. It is a 5 speed transmission, and bucket seats with a factory installed sunroof, power locks and power steering.

Very reliable, great gas mileage, not a spacious family car.
My car is reliable, gets great gas mileage, can be serviced anywhere, and will run for many years to come. It was easy enough to install a GPS into the radio console. The cabin is very loud while driving and the outside has sustained some sun damage. There is no back windshield wiper, which is only a problem during the middle of winter. There are only two cup holders in the whole car. . . Which is far more inconvenient than would be expected.

.I love my car. I bought it at 120,000 miles and I am now at a little over 200,000. This car has never let me down. Never a maintenance issue. I just do the oil changes every 3000 miles, check brakes every year, and check the alignment. Aside from the normal wear of brakes and rotors, I have never had a maintenance issue. Amazing car!

2002 Honda Civic - The Best Go-Kart I've Ever Owned
I affectionately call it my go-kart, because it's small and you feel every bump in the road. I actually like that because I feel more grounded and in control. Although it's got a small tank, it's gets some good gas mileage--not too long ago I drove from Union County, NJ to Northport, NY and back using just over half a tank. All and all, it's a pretty utilitarian car, very reliable.

Service needed for my 2002 Honda Civic.
My Honda Civic runs ok but the repairs are starting to pile up. Engine light on, catalytic converter, also struts all way round. I have the Oil changed regularly and keep up with maintenance but these items are big ticket items and it's taking me awhile to have them serviced.

(Honda Civic). Head gasket situations.
Well my vehicle has great performance but a few small problems that tend to happen with Honda Civics. The wheel bearing gives out after a while and the fuse to the battery. The head gasket seal has to be changed every so often because the oil leaks on the head gasket and burns which can cause a fire or safety hazard.

The mileage is already high, and it will go another 100,000 miles!
I like the size, small and compact, yet room enough for all my kids. I love being able to fit in a small parking spot. I like that my car gets great gas mileage. I dislike that the interior is not roomy enough, as I am tall. I also dislike that you have to hold the driver door knob in order to lock it.

It lasts a lot of miles, maybe up to 300,000 miles.
It gets good gas mileage. Doesn't cost a lot to fill up with gas. It is red.

Honda’s are the best car out there.
My car is great and very reliable. It has low miles for the age. But typically, Honda’s are good even when they have high mileage. I plan I getting another Honda Civic once I graduate from college. Hopefully sooner though! I really like Honda’s, they're great cars.

It is too old and keeps breaking down. I have to add water every time I start it.
I like that it is good on gas. I do not like that it is so old and keeps breaking down. I do not like that I am not confident in the air bags.

Great car with few expenses. Only need to do maintenance on the vehicle. Replaced the battery & starter not too long ago.

It's red and awesome. Low fuel usage and enough get up and go

Cool Honda's Civic with a recalled airbag.
There was a recall on the airbag. But it is fun and drive it is a perfect size and I think it looks cool. It is okay on gas but not great. I do love it though.
