Red Honda hrv is awesome!
Love this car! It is easy to drive; yet sporty and lots of storage. The back seat is very comfortable for backseat passengers! It is great on gas mileage and has a very smooth ride. Dashboard is awesome and easy to use while driving. Center console could have more storage but that is not a huge issue.

Electronic: alarm randomly goes off once in a blue moon. You will need new battery after 2 years. Sometimes vehicle will over accelerate and make a weird noise. 100 percent reliable. AWD in the snow. Window spots
The window spots are circles /black spots all over the windows. It can be very annoying whentraveling long distance or in bright sunshine. The back head rest is awkward. Loud road noise. Not comfortable on long distance.

My vehicle is the perfect car. It is very comfortable, as well as reliable. There is plenty of space to fit items inside as well as many modern features. I have noticed no major vehicle problems since the car was purchased. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a durable car that will last them many years without issue.

I love the seat configurations!
I haven't had any mechanical problems with my Honda hr-v. I have had the vehicle for 2 1/2 years and I am happy with it. It is reliable, and fairly comfortable but it is not a $30,000+ car so I am not comparing it with that type. I am not fond of where you connect a USB cord, it is sort of behind the center console. The seat coverings are light and stain easily. I am glad I have the four wheel drive for New England winters.

Whomever I am speaking with over Bluetooth cannot hear me clearly, other than that I love my vehicle. I wish it was a “push to start” vehicle. The trunk should have been automatic from key fob, but I have to press the button on the trunk door and lift it myself.

Spacious yet compact crossover.
Comfortable and spacious, I have taken this car across the country and it handles well. Only complaint is the visibility is not great. Gets great gas mileage and is a smooth ride. The Bluetooth capability is excellent as well as the blind spot camera.

Good space for long and local trips.
We haven't driven it for a long amount of time and it was very reliable on a long distance road trip. It was a good amount of space for our things, us, and our cat. The seat warmers are a nice addition and it was comfortable to ride in - a smooth ride. It was nice to put things in the back of a larger size.

Great car that only needs a few changes to make perfect.
The hr-v has been fabulous. It is reliable, has good gas mileage, tons of space when seats are folded, and is safe. My favorite feature is the passenger side blind spot camera that turns on when you put on a right blinker. It would make so much sense and improve visibility and safety by having the same feature on the drivers side. Also using a hard surface instead of fabric on the door panels would make it easier to keep clean.

Beyond cargo capability-solid commuter car.
The biggest factor for me to buy this car was because of its amazing size capabilities and the reliability of Honda. Size wasn't actually such a great reason but the quality sure has been nice. I will look forward to a decade or more out of this car. I just hope that it will still make sense to drive this thing in 2030. Anyways the reason I say size wasn't the best thing to care so much about is that when it comes down to it, I drive this car on short trips. I had romanticized about monthly car-camping trips to the nearest national forest... But I've done that just twice with my hr-v. The magic seats are obviously a critical utility to take advantage of the cargo capabilities. I use the rear-seats-folded vertically-down setting more often than the rear-seats-folded-flat level with the trunk space. In fact it is set that way by default most of the time my wife drives it. While I don't make use of the space as much as I should be, I am at least able to benefit from the mileage. Which is good for a car this size. When it comes down to it, this car succeeds because it's a good commuter car for me.

It looks nice and has great connectivity features. Plenty of room too.
Very comfortable for a small crossover. I would like it to be able to pull a small camper but it is not rated to tow anything. I like the hands free controls for the phone and music. It gets very good gas mileage. It tells me when it needs service. The sound system is ok. One thing I do not like is the upholstery seems to stain easily and is difficult to clean. This car is easy to get in and out of. The cargo space is adequate for my needs and it has a large hatch to carry anything I need to carry.

Love the Honda. We love sitting high up.
No problems since I purchased my Honda. My wife and I love it. We most probably will buy the same vehicle in 2023. Hamilton Honda gives you free lifetime oil changes and vacuum. The car has a lot of space in the hatchback. You sit high up which is good for my wife and I because were senior citizens. It is very economical on gas. We like it better than our Nissan sentra.

My hr-v is extremely reliable. It does well in all types of weather. It fits my family of 4 comfortably. The back seats fold down making it easy to haul bigger items. I like the audio system which includes Bluetooth. It gets good gas mileage. I wish there were more cup holders and I wish there were air vents in the back seat.

Reliable car that can take a lot of damage.
Small, sturdy car. Mine had to go through a couple of accidents and the minor ones barely caused any damage to my own car. The pickup on the vehicle is not the best, but it is a great car for someone who doesn't care about that stuff. The space inside is perfect and there is enough storage space.

Heated seats on cloth seats. Didn't know it was possible.
The engine could have a little more power. The AWD is great for living in the PNW. It's very roomy on the inside. Also get rid of Hondalink. Just have apple carplay. The look of the car is good. Most do not know where the back door handles are. I like the center console between the driver and the passenger. The camera on the passenger mirror is super helpful but there is not anything on the driver's side for safety that does not make any sense. There should be lane assist or a safety feature along with the camera.

Best details about my hr-v is size and 4-wheel drive.
Comfort is good. Car is roomy and higher up than my previous car which is good for night driving since other cars' headlights are not directly in my eyes. Car has a lot of road noise. Gas mileage is just ok. Handles well. Has quite a few accessories which can sometimes be confusing.

There is some room for improvement
I feel like my Honda HRV does not accelerate very fast. It is somewhat sluggish. I also feel like the HRV doesn't have much storage space. And the legroom is kind of strange in the driver and passenger seats. It is a really sharp looking vehicle though.

So far so good! No issues found, and it is a perfect car to be driving in the local weather conditions where tropical rains create huge puddles that would be a challenge for a sedan (like my previous car), but not for this baby! Another great thing is how low gas consuming it is.

Perfect for a college student, soccer mom or adventure seeker.
The car is amazing! Just the right amount of space without sacrificing the storage or all-wheel-drive. Excellent choice for a crossover. Gas mileage is still in the high 20s, so you do not lose much there and the safety features were a major reason for buying this vehicle (my insurance even dropped). I have recommended the vehicle to others who have then purchased hr-v's. Would definitely buy again.

This is a great starter SUV. It is reliable, drives smoothly, and gets fairly good gas mileage. It is small but has enough room for four passengers. It has a backup camera, front and back windshield wipers, cloth seats, power windows, and a standard stereo. The back seats can be folded down to create more room.

The Honda HR-V has a funny center console that I haven't seen in other cars, it's hard to plug in my phone to recharge.
I love the room in the back when the back seats are down. I got the car for this reason plus the back hatch. I chose it also because it has AWD and it wasn't real expensive. No complaints so far.

I love my hrv. It is reliable and low maintenance. It is great on gas and super easy to handle. Easy to use, and comfortable for long drives. I have the lx version so I wish I had a sunroof but at least I have Bluetooth. The radio face is changeable so you can change the color based on your mood.

Loving my hr-v, for the most part!
I really enjoy my vehicle overall -the look and performance. I love both the color and the style. It is pretty comfortable, aside from the headrest. And I like that it has seat warmers as a feature, as well as a sunroof. The touch screen does glitch at times though, by suddenly turning off and restarting on its own. I feel like for such a new vehicle, it shouldn't be having that issue. That is the only problem I have with it.

Easy to handle, has back-up window so parallel. Parking is much easier to perform, I do upholstery, so the added space afford me the option of hauling and pick up and delivery. Very comfortable when. The hr-v, the best biggest small car.
I love this vehicle for its durability. It is got the trunk space of a hatchback, but the size of a sedan. I have never had any issues with engine or performance. It is got great pickup, fits 2 bikes and a bunch of my other equipment I take on trips or fitness outings.

The pros and cons of the hr-v.
The front seats of the car is comfortable and spacious but if your taller the back seats may feel like a tight fit. Everything about the car is great except the voice command is horrible. The car comes with a spare tire and kit. The car does not have a CD player but it has Bluetooth.

This is the 2nd hrv I have leased and see no reason not to continue! It is great!
Overall it is the perfect vehicle for me! The size is just right for me. Not needing a large SUV but loving and wanting the SUV feel and with the AWD feature is great. The downside would be the nav system. I wish it was more user friendly and had a few more features such as easier to enter addresses and current speed limits. Very comfortable to drive.

The car has a wonderful shape that helps it to just glide.
The car looks awesome and drives smoothly. It is a small compact SUV with a seating capacity of 5 passengers and has rearview cameras. It covers at least. 5 000 miles before one can think of oil change. 0n the other side of the coin the car does not have much electronic controlled functions. For example the boot is opened manually. Also there are no sensors on either side of the car to warn the driver of the approaching motorists.

A LEMON
I did like my car that I bought new in July 2018. BUT, since September I’ve had nothing but issues with both the car and Century Honda where I purchased it! The owner Mike MacGillivray is disrespectful at best! Honda Canada has tried to help but is no longer! The car’s battery has died several times leaving me stranded! I am a single mom who depends on my vehicle! It is undependable, burns gas (9.5-11.1 L/100km - up to 99.9 L/100), the oil is black and burns quickly, the sunroof stuck open, the weather stripping on the back door is falling off, and NO ONE at 3 dealerships can find the issue since the battery was replaced at Century in September! I’ve had it to a private mechanic and he diagnosed it at my own cost with transmission and braking system issues! I’ve had to pay out of pocket for a rental and although the service departments have tried, their computers cannot find the issues! Help please!!!

They put square cup holders in the front.
I like the car except for the lack of cup holders and that the two cup holders in the front are square and rarely ever fit a normal drink. And the charger outlet in the back is in one of the actual cup holders in the back. But I would also like the lights to be automatic and be brighter because I can never see the lights and it is hard to remember to turn them off after always having automatics. But overall the car is very nice it the interior gets very hot.

Perfect vehicle for anyone's lifestyle!
I love the amount of space I have, the vehicle isn't too big. Very easy to get into little spots and back out of right areas. Plenty of trunk space, very comfortable driving long distance. I drove mine to Florida with 4 adults and we never had any comfort problems. Now that I have the hatchback I can never go back! The sunroof and heated seats are a HUGE plus too! The perfect size car. I love the right side mirror for lane switching too is a great feature too! You can change the color on the display screen too so it feels like you have a different car. There's also multiple USB plugs so you can have more phones plugged in at one time! So convenient!

It is a smaller version of the CR-V. It has a small trunk and hard to fit stroller for baby with groceries. It is very comfortable and love the all wheel drive for snow. The heated cloth seats and touch screen for audio and Bluetooth. I have always had a Honda and never had an issues with their vehicles.

Turn signal camera and keyless entry.
I have never had any problems with this car. It gets great gas mileage. The seats are very comfortable and the back up camera is so helpful. The right turn signal also has a camera which makes changing lanes very safe with the extra view that you get. I love the keyless entry and as long as I have the key fob, I can open the door by just lifting the handle. It senses when you are carrying it in your purse.

Great for city driving but slow accelerated for highway driving.
It is a good comfortable car for city driving. Easy to control. It does not accelerate very fast so it is not the best for highway driveway. Interior gets easy quickly. Air conditioning is not very cold even on highest setting. You do not feel every bump on the road.

Good car, some minor design flaws.
I really hate that I cannot hold the steering wheel at the bottom because of the design. Also, there’s not a good place to put my phone. Otherwise it is a good reliable car. I had to have the ac fixed and that was pretty expensive, hopefully there will not be a ton more repairs.

Reliable car for city living
Air conditioning in the back is weak and less comfortable back there. I get flat tires often. Gas mileage for this car is great. Honda is not that great for service so I do have another mechanic I use. The vehicle is reliable in the snow and small for parking in a major metropolitan area.

Honda hr-v - a great, low-maintenance vehicle.
My car has been nothing but reliable. I am currently commuting about 100 miles twice a week and I have had no problems with my vehicle. It requires very little maintenance and upkeep. The only thing that I have an issue with is engine performance. The get-up is a little slow, but the sport mode can make up for it a little bit.

Cute car for the basic driver.
Great car, however if you are looking for performance, it does not accelerate fast at all. It actually kind of stutters if you try to gun it. The car otherwise is great, super comfortable and great on gas. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for a high speed car.

The side camera is the best!
I love my cats features. It had a back up camera but also a blind spot camera on the right side of the car that automatically turns on when you use the right turn signal. Heated seats are a big plus. And cruise control is very helpful. The air conditioning could be more powerful but it is not bad. Also has a sunroof with a sliding door to cover it on hot days.

Amazing four wheel drive super comfy the radio is very nice and it also has aux! Very fun to drive and the handles on the back doors are very quirky and fun. The trunk opening and closing noise makes me happy. Also you do not have to pay a ton for gas but it gets good mileage as well.

Shorty-better than your average crossover.
Very smooth drive and turns, sometimes takes a lot to speed up so that is concerning if you are driving on hills/freeways. I have only had one maintenance issue since buying it and had to replace the battery, but I live in a hot climate so it was not too surprising. I like that it is shorter than most vehicles and has a great backup camera. I do not like that the seat adjustment is not automatic, it is manual.

Why I love my 2018 Honda hrv.
Love this care great on gas, drives like a dream, great on gas, my only complaint is the GPS is horrible. Not user friendly & very difficult to operate. Plenty of room in the back-seat. I wish it had door cup-holders in the rear of the car. Breaks are great & so is the transmission.

Honda hrv is the best small SUV. My favorite feature of the car is the break hold, this feature is the best wherever you're at the stop light or etc. This car is really good on gas, good gas mileage. This car is also low maintenance. I haven't got oil change for almost 6 months now. Honda is forever a reliable car.

My car is runs like 23 miles per gallon. It lacks leather seating, the seat adjustment is manual. I wish it was automatic. It is in white color. The music system installed are not of good quality, it can use some improvements. I have it spacious enough in that category of cars. The touch screen is smooth and work efficient.

The car has a lot of space on the inside for being a compact SUV
This car is awesome for travel as it is very comfortable to drive and has the ability to carry a lot of stuff. I have moved three times in the past year and was able to fit everything I needed into the car each time. It drives great and is stylish as well.

This vehicle saves you money on gas and is very reliable.
I like my car because it is a small family car, just like how I wanted. It comes with a sunroof, Bluetooth, back camera and side camera. It is a 4 door with all wheel drive so I can take it outdoor adventures up in the mountain. Also it saves you money on gas which I like.

My vehicle has become an excellent choice and I really love it.
Recently I got into a crash where I was hit from the back and it was cheap to fix which was helpful. The car is also very comfortable and since I bought it has been very reliable.It has had not even one single problem at all with the car which has been very good.

Affordable, stylish, and reliable honda hr-v.
It is a really great and comfortable drive. It is good for an everyday use car that is inexpensive and reliable. It is a car that can last for a really long time. The car has decent trunk space and backseat space as well. I love the fact that it is awd too. It maneuvers really well in snow and other types of inclement weather.

The great Honda hr-v and it is features.
Very comfortable car, it has seat warmers, easy UI for the touch screen in the middle, great seats, easy seat adjustments, a/c throughout the whole car, and a camera in the back. Very reliable have not had any problems with it at all. Its a great family car and there is a good amount of space in the trunk.

Honda’s are reliable and affordable.
My family has always used Honda’s because of how many miles we get out of them. This car we’ve had for about 2 years and it has worked well with minor problems. There has been some issues with the wheel locking as well as some issue with the engine that cost a couple thousand dollars to get repaired. However it drives nicely and is definitely worth the cost of the vehicle.

Comfortable and appropriately sized.
This is a comfortable reliable vehicle that is spacious while not being too big. There is lots of legroom both front and back and the cargo hold is ample. The back seat lays down for extra storage when necessary. I love the blind spot camera and only wish it was on both mirrors. I also wish there was a backup alarm. The backup camera is good quality, but there is no alarm. The gas mileage is excellent and I like the feature where you can see how many remaining miles you have on the tank. The screen is easy to use, but the safety features can be a bit annoying. I understand they do not want you doing certain things with the screen while you are driving, but even the passenger cannot make certain adjustments if the car is in motion. Overall though, the ride is very smooth. The car has the needed features without a lot of extra fancy bells and whistles. The moon roof is excellent.

Small car with big rewards!
The hr-v I have does its job. It is reliable and comfortable and I feel my family is safe in it. We have taken several road trips in it and have had no problems at all. It has great gas mileage and does not cost a lot to fill up. It is a small car, but has plenty of space in the trunk to trips.

Love this car! Planning to buy a newer model in the future.
This car is easy to drive, easy to maneuver, and easy to maintain. Thanks to the eco boost feature, I get great gas mileage. I do not put too many miles on it, and it only needs an oil change every 6k miles. It takes synthetic oil, which is an extra cost when it is time for an oil change. Though the car is not huge, I have managed to fit all sorts of cumbersome and large items in it for moving or home improvement projects. By putting the back seats down (with just one lever) you can fill up the trunk and backseat area and still have plenty of legroom while driving. My only complaint is that occasionally after I get gas, the sensor trips and lights up my dashboard with warning lights for the emergency brake and tire pressure. After it happened the first time, I took it in and they confirmed it was just an issue with the sensor. It resets after enough drive time, and it does not happen after every fill up. It was alarming the first time but is now only a minor annoyance. I am leasing this car, and when the lease is up in a year, I plan to get another hrv. I love this car.

It is a trooper but could be better.
This car has sluggish acceleration, and needs extra cup holders in the front like in the Honda fit, Civic wipers would be great the speeds options are too slow or too fast. AWD is awesome, headlights could be better wish I had led. Can be noisy and better insulated.

That it's a nice, compact vehicle that is perfectly suited to a small family.
I like how easy it is to maneuver throughout town. That it has an easy-to-use radio system. I don't like having to adjust the head cushions for the back seats. Great car overall.

It has great safety features to help when you are driving on long trips.

The sunroof is the best. Bringing the sun in any time of year is always a plus.
I never have to worry about feeling safe in my car, it is reliable and comfortable for what I need. I can fold the seats down and pack it full of stuff when I need to as well as have passengers and car pool with friends or family. I also love that it has all of the benefits of an SUV without being huge.

2018, white, Honda hrv review 2020.
Great gas mileage, perfect size for all occasions. Highly recommend to anyone of any lifestyle. Drive extremely smooth and makes for comfortable long trips. Bluetooth is sometime spotty but that is due to pairing with an apple product. Rearview camera is clear and a great addition with reserve parking.

2018 Honda hrv, cruise in leisure.
My Honda is extremely comfortable. The seats have great back support. My phone connects seamlessly to the Bluetooth. GPS is also a great feature the car has. You need to have a USB cord to connect your phone to access the GPS, it is not apple. Reverse and right side camera are extremely helpful and provide an extra cushion of safety.

Great car & must have! If you are looking for an SUV type but want to save in gas.
It's a bit of a slow start, but I love that I has an eco feature to save gas. There is a camera on the side mirror to help with lane checking. The backup camera is very useful. There is Bluetooth connection as well as able to connect via HDMI. It handles very well and have paddle shifters, which is a cool feature on a crossover. The back seats fold to give more room in the trunk.

Gas saver and comfortable.
It gets great gas mileage, comfortable, it is as easy to use for different things and projects as my van and much easier to park in places where I could not park the van. I really love it. My husband picked out this vehicle and I wasn't there but it is really a great vehicle, he surprised me with the new vehicle.

Honda hrv. Just get a CR-V.
It is reliable, especially in the snow. I wish it had more power in the engine. I also wish the trunk was bigger without having to fold the seats down. It should come with roof racks since it is a sporty car. The blind spot on the right side is large and problematic.

Honda hrv summarization's.
I really like the vehicle, I just personally wish there was better gas mileage, heated seats, and a sunroof. I feel like I am always filling my car up. I also think the air conditioning could be better. Sometimes it takes a while too cool off or I feel like there is not enough air.

Honda hr-v: excellent for the young professional needing extra compartment space.
I love how comfortable my vehicle is. With the 2018 model and basic structure, I have found that it sits a little bit lower than some of the newer models of the hr-v. I wish I would have held out because the higher seats might be nice. I love the functionality of the seats being able to go up or lay completely flat, giving it a lot of utility for moving in my young professional career. I also thoroughly enjoy that it gets great gas mileage and has an eco option. My three complaints would be that my model does not have a sunroof, I wish there were more cup holders, and I also wish that there was a spot I could pop my sunglasses above the rearview mirror.

Amazing quality car, highly recommend!
Honestly I love my Honda. It is very good quality for those who take short drives to work everyday. The only problem with my Honda is the tires. They're not the best quality. Other than the tires, everything is amazing about the car. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing a Honda!
