The van is extremely comfortable and versatile. It picks up speed fairly fast. Sometimes there are some issues with the sliding doors not properly closing. There are more than enough cup holders. The interior cabin is very roomy. The spare tire is located under the vehicle on the back passenger side.

Nice family travel mini-van.
General space is fantastic. However, the middle passenger seats are not 'stow and go' and this really has not been great. The drive is wonderful, handles good in colder weather. The head lights and tail lights tend to not last as long, but no other major issues.

I would definitely buy a Kia again.
Very reliable vehicle with no issues. Other than brakes, tires and oil change, has not cost any money. It is a perfect size, it gets great gas mileage. It had a couple of minor recalls that were handled promptly. They dealt with the computer chips-nothing major. I would buy a Kia again.

My Kia Sedona is a great van!
I have no problems with my Kia Sedona! It is a fantastic car for me and my 3 boys! The back seat has the option to fold down only part of it so that helps with storing all the stuff for on the go! It gets great gas mileage, we jam to the great sound system (for a mom van). Back seats fold all the way down too which can be helpful!

It has really big windows, also lots of space for traveling.
Kia has been damage with the air conditioner. I taken this year several times. I went to the Kia company and supposedly they fix it but they didn't. Right now is again in the Kia because the air conditioner is not working again. When I drive it is really hot and I couldn't support it no more. Other than that that is the only problem I been having with it. It is really comfortable to go on field trips in it.

Tons of room and comfortable.
I love my Kia Sedona. The size is wonderful. I do not feel claustrophobic at all. My three kids and my husband and I all feel super comfortable in it. I think my favorite part of the vehicle is that there are literally no blind spots. The windows are so big it is so easy to see everything around you. It is a super smooth ride too. Not too much road noise at all. I have had no mechanical issues at all so far either.

Nice, practical van with some flaws.
I like the ride and all of the space. There are just little things I dislike. The automatic doors need servicing a lot. The volume knob sometimes randomly runs the volume to max. The gas lid button does not work until you've pressed on the lid itself first. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

Safe and spacious family van.
Our Kia Sedona has been a great family vehicle. It is very spacious and feels like you are driving a large pickup truck which adds to assurance of safety. The only issue we have experienced are that both sliding doors have had to receive $500 each in repairs for not shutting properly.

We love the space as it works great for our family, kids and dog.
We have had some issues with the videos not working. They stopped working and we are trying to figure out how to fix them. They don't take headphones either so always have to run the sound on the speakers for everyone to hear. The were put in as an added feature.

Heated butt pads in the front seats.
It is constantly having maintenance issues but it is very smooth to drive and is very comfortable. It can carry all of my family members. It is very good for travel, I used this everyday before the pandemic and I used to go drop off all of my 3 kids and still go to work after I love using this on a daily commute but because of its build it is slow ish but all around 7/10 pretty good.

Great van with lots of space.

We needed to upgrade our vehicle to be able to fit 3 car seats. This minivan is awesome and affordable. It is like a luxury vehicle but at a much more affordable price. It is spacious! Has awesome features. Still figuring things out with it to this day. It is been very reliable so far. It is comfortable for road trips. Everyone always wants to take my van! It is much better on gas than most SUVs so that is also a plus. It has just so many features. We love it! There is so much storage space too which is nice.

The perfect van for our family.
Vehicle is great. I love the sliding doors except the motor on one of them is going out and it is expensive to fix. I wish the Kia Sedona had black interior. Maintaining gray with 3 kids is difficult. The van drives quiet and smooth. Sound system is pretty good for a van, I use Bluetooth and play music from my phone mostly. There is plenty of room inside even for adults sitting in the very back.

Reliable, comfy, and safe family vehicle
Our Sedona is comfortable and reliable. Being a military family we drive A LOT for moving and visits and our vehicle has been amazing. We have been in one accident due to another party but our van was a 'tank' we did have to replace the control arm due to the way the other party hit us but other than that you couldn't tell we were in an accident. With our 3 boys the seats are easy to clean and the DVD player is a life saver. I would recommend this van to anyone.

If you are sitting in the car running for more than 30 mins and it's hot outside the van shuts down and won't start running again for 30 mins. We have took it multiple times to the dealership and the problem is still no fixed.

The Kia Sedona has a lot of space to move things. I wish it was a bit more durable and had better amenities, but I was not willing to go up in price to a Honda or Toyota. Great value for the money. The power of the engine is not great, but it works. It is a standard minivan. If you want to go to the next level of minivan be prepared to pay 10k more.

The Kia Sedona is not a half bad vehicle, not the car of my dreams, but is definitely a reliable vehicle for a mother with three children who are still in car seats. Things I love about the van are: the power automated sliding back doors; no worries about nicking the car next to you getting your kids in and out, third row seating for extra bodies but can also fold for extra space; vacations and grocery shopping, and a backup camera which comes in handy because the car is just so big. I don't have a lot of negatives about the car other than I bought it second hand and the interior isn't in the greatest shape, it's pretty long and easy to hit curbs, also the cabin is just not very comfortable. The seats are narrow and don't allow much forgiveness in the hips and thighs; somewhat a tight squeeze.

Best choice for my family.
Kid is a great value. Great warranty. My van fully loaded was 26,000 less than a Toyota with the same options. The only dislike I have was not a big selection of colors available. Great for family vacations with 6 passengers. Still have room even with everything you take in a trip! My next van will be a Kia, unless I receive another brand as a gift.

It has a lot of run and we love that the seats will lay down in the back for luggage on long trips. The only issues we have had are with the power sliding doors but in our model you can run the doors on manual also.

I love my van! I wish the back seats folded flatter. They slant causing things to fall. I have had issues with the blinker not coming on right away but that is the only mechanic issue we have had. 2016 Kia Sedona at 93000 miles.
It was hard to get used to driving at first because the center of gravity is very different from other front wheeled cars or trucks I have driven in the past. It did not have an option for dual climate control for driver and passenger which will be a must have in our next vehicle. We have had some issues with the air conditioning going warm and had to replace the wiring harness and sensor for the cooling system.

Enough Room for Eight with a contemporary look.
The Kia Sedona is a very nice car. Room for eight and storage behind. For a family of five, the are several seat configurations that allow for maximum comfort and premium storage space. The Sedona SXL also looks very nice. A few chrome accents and 17 in wheels makes it look much more contemporary than comparable minivans. The leather interior with heated seats in the front two rows of seats and air cooled front seats allows for very comfortable travel.

2016 Kia sedona review. A quick overview of accessories and comfortability.
The Kia sedona is a very smooth and comfortable ride. It seats up to 8 passengers comfortably. I love the easy stow away back row. It folds easily and creates room to haul things if you need to. We were very easily able to lay the seats down in the back, cover the floor with a tarp, and bring home our christmas tree! . Our model is equipped with heated seats which we love! It would be nice if the steering wheel and other seats were heated as well. The automatIc doors are a very easy feature. We did have some problems with them not sealing shut and found out there was a recall on them. Kia fixed the recalled problem and we've had no issues with them since. The stereo and bluetooth functions are a great resource and very easy to set up and use. I do sometimes wish we'd purchased a model with built dVD player. Overall we are very pleased with the Kia sedona we purchased.

It has ran well but my biggest problem with it is that two of the rear seat belts stopped working. I had to pay close to $500 to get them fixed. What I like about it is that it is very spacious for my family of five. I also like the ecoboost capabilities to save on fuel mileage.

If you leave the keys in the ignition and half turn the engine off. If you still have the radio running you will have battery problems. Your battery will go dead and need to be jumped. That is the main issue with all Kias I have owned. Everything else I don't have a problem with.

I really love my kia Sedona even though there are some things I do not like, but they are nothing I can't deal with. The overall performance is good. The Kia has a hard time going up hills at times. Also, there is a vinegar smell that comes out of my air vents when the heat or air conditioning is on. My tired that came with vehicle have lasted over two years which is good. I love the amount of room in the vehicle. I do wish the van got better gas mileage. The interior has enough cup holders for everyone. The comfort of the van is ok. The children wish it was more comfortable though.

The 2016 Kia Sedona: a van for everyone.
Had an issue with the automatic doors, but the dealer was able to resolve it quickly. The Sedona is comfortable and reliable. We are able to go on vacation in it every year without fear of breakdowns. The backup camera is convenient. We love the Sedona. The van features heated seats which are great in cold weather. Our dealer in texarkana is wonderful and always takes care of us. Also the vehicle is affordable, at a price we can afford.

2016 Kia Sedona is great!
It is a super comfortable vehicle. It is great for trips and long rides. All the seats in all 3 rows are comfortable and recline fully. The gas mileage is great, it drives over 400 miles on one tank of gas. It handles well and does not feel like a big car. I have only had the car for a couple of months so I haven't had any issues with it. The backup camera is a nice feature too.

Bluetooth and rear view camera.
I like my minivan. I drives great. Gas can be an issue if you drive fast. It is comfortable and roomy. I have two teenagers and two toddlers and they are not uncomfortable in the seats. The only thing that can be an issue is when the older kids try to get on and the toddlers are in their booster seats their legs get tangled with the little ones. The trunk is small but we do not use it much. We have used the back for bigger stuff like a 65” TV and it was a little difficult to get it in but my husband got it in.

2016 Kia Sedona is packed with practical features.
What I love about the 2016 Kia Sedona. The side doors are automatic and can be controlled by the key fob. It is helpful most especially when you have a lot of things on your hands. The video when backing up helps you see a wide angle and a wide view of your rear. It has sensors too and the vehicle would alert you when it is near an object while backing up. The third row seats folds down and makes room for big bags or other stuffs. I would have loved it to have an automatic gate especially when carrying groceries. The side mirrors automatically folds inward when the vehicle is locked and opens when the vehicle is being used. This is also a cool feature.

If you have a big family, this minivan offers a lot of comfort.
I like that it is has a lot of room for my 4 kids. I like how it drives in the winter. I like the features inside like the cruise control, Bluetooth, camera when I reverse. What I dislike is that in order for me to have automatic sliding door to open I had to spend a lot more and gas is not the greatest.

Kia Sedona is a great family car. Has all the bells and whistles for a car lover
The car is very reliable. It has a smooth ride, moves well through traffic and handles great. The features are good... Heated seats, rearview camera, automatic lights and automatic trunk. The inside is very roomy and truly can hold nine people instead of eight. The heat and cooling is in the front and back to be adjusted by wherever you sit. Chargers and cup holders throughout the car and the seats all recline. I truly love my Kia Sedona.

It is reliable and is very comfortable. It has space for all of our children and makes me feel safe when I am driving.
I hate the color. I do love the space in the van. I do wish there were more usb ports.

Like I said before, great on gas, rides smoothly, very detailed interior.
It is like the perfect size for me, not too big and not too small, it is great on gas, gets me from point a to point b, heat and a/c works amazing so I do not have to be too cold or too hot, I'drives so smoothly, great interior on the inside of the car, great detail.

Great van with a great price
Very roomy van. Can fit 8 people fairly comfortably. Plenty of storage as well. Very nice interior trim levels. Exceptional warranty and the price was one of the most reasonable of all makes and models. Drives very smoothly. Electric sliding doors are great for kids running in and out for school and practices. I would say some of the center console features are not as nice as other cars, like the radio screen etc... But that was not important to me.

My Kia sedona. The sedona is a comfortable ride with lots of room.
The Kia Sedona drives nice and is very comfortable. It sometimes hesitates when accelerating, which is frustrating. The only other issue I have with it is the keyless locking and unlocking system could use improvement. The key has to be so close to the lock to work! All the doors have to be closed to lock! It is not a fast process.

Reliable and worth every dollar.
Very reliable and so roomy. I love the review camera and how I can lay all the seats down to move large items. Traveled across the country and back and it drove amazing in snow storms. It handled amazing in the snow and rain. The gas mileage is actually really good for a minivan.

Best car in the world to drive
It as a lot of space and drives very good. It's a beautiful model has not given no problems it drives well in the free way. The interior is very nice it had a back up camera it has a lot good space. The wheel is very nice it has a button to push if you want your sit lower or higher

It's reliable and efficient. The sliding doors were pin recall but they are fixing it. It's definitely perfect for a family
I love the space in the van. I love the middle seat in the second row can be taken out or used. I LOVE the deepness of my trunk.

Kia Sedona-plus and minus
It has things that are falling apart. And some cheap features that break easily. Like the trim and rubber on steering wheel broke off from wear and tear. I originally loved the car because of the extra features that come normally with the car. Love the rear view camera. The windows have shades built in, and I love that I can open the doors automatically.

It's great for large families and transporting people. It provides a lot of storage space and is comfortable for short drives or long trips.
I love that it has 8 seats when most minivans only have 7. I also like the amount of storage that it has for the trunk and the stow away 3rd row seats. I would like the gas mileage to be a little better- it's not awful but not so great either.

Thoughts for a Kia Sedona.
I love the space in this van it had all the extras including the automatic doors for the back my kids love this feeling special. Love the seat warmers. The only thing I'd like to change is the center console other than that I love this car. The price range is good as will strong motors.

The Sedona drives more like a car than any of its competitors.
The Sedona has been a great addition to our family. We looked for a van but always found them to be to van like. The Sedona is sporty and aggressive. The Sedona rides like a car. All other vans we tested felt stiff and unresponsive, the Sedona was by far the funniest and most aggressive can we test drove. With the ability to sit 8 people and a spacious cargo area, the v6 Sedona was the van for us.

Customer service issues
Sliding doors have not closed properly after having them fixed on a recall. I asked Kia to please look at it again as the problem was getting progressively worse. They said the issue may not be an ineffective repair, and could be "mice chewing on wires" and informed me I would have to pay 150 dollars for them to look at the vehicle. Any other repair shop would look at the vehicle a second time for free if it had been improperly fixed during a recall repair. Disappointing customer service. I do not trust them.

The kia sedona is an overall good minivan for people with kids
I love the back up camera, heated seats and that the back seats go into the floor to create more room to transport large items. I dislike the white color... It is always showing dirt and bugs and the carwash rarely gets it completely clean which is very frustrating. The material of the seats also shows dirt and stains very easily which is unsatisfactory when buying a minivan because you have kids.
